Description:

Human metapneumovirus (HMPV) has three surface glycoproteins—the small hydrophobic (SH), glycoprotein (G) for attachment, and fusion (F) proteins. A recombinant HMPV glycoprotein (G) (GenBank: WAB07491.1) from isolate NL/1/02/A1 consists of ectodomain (Thr 59-Ser 241) and was produced by insect cells, followed by purification. This product contains C-terminal human Fc tag, 6 hexa-histidine tags. Amino acid sequence is available upon request. This product has been run on SDS-PAGE with reduced condition, where the target protein with a calculated MW of ~46 kDa (including tags) was shown while a surprising bigger band (~62 kDa) was observed. We evaluated its binding to anti-His tag antibody (clone RV7, Cat.No. J96C86) in ELISAs, see results.

Shipping or storage condition

Ship with dry ice. Recommend -80°C storage for long-term. Store at 4°C or −20 °C for short-term.  Multiple freeze/Thaw cycles will reduce its activity. Aliquot is recommended.
