Description:
Human CD80 (also known as B7-1) on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APCs) binds to CTLA-4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4) on T cells. A recombinant form (Val 35 – Asn 242) of CD80 protein (GenBank: NP_005182.1) fused with human IgG1 Fc (Fc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The purity has been examined as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~ 55 kDa (including tags) migrates as 65-90 kDa. We evaluated its binding to CTLA-4 protein (Cat.No. A96M36) in ELISAs, see results.
