Human alpha-Klotho (α-Klotho, KLA) is predominantly expressed in the kidney, brain and exerts anti-aging effects. Beta-Klotho (β-Klotho, KLB) is expressed primarily in the liver and pancreas and functions as a cofactor for FGF-19 subfamily member interactions with their receptors. This antibody has been tested to bind to human Klotho Alpha protein (Cat.No. D44P67) weakly and Beta strongly, see picture.
