This antibody has been tested to bind to S2 subunit in both forms of monomer (Sino Biological 40590-V08B) and trimer (Cat.No. B85Q65) of SARS-CoV-2 S protein, and show NO neutralizing activity. This antibody has been tested to bind to most of SARS-CoV-2 variant spike proteins, including spike from Wuhan (Cat.No. C40N10), and Beta (Cat.No. R12T26) variant. It doesn’t bind to SARS spike (2003 strain) (Cat.No. Z18G29).
