Parvovirus-AAV, Porcine Parvovirus

Parvovirus

Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a single stranded DNA virus and belongs to Parvoviridae family. AAV with features of non-pathogenic and no integrating into the host genome can be used to express genes of interest into cells or organism for gene therapy. Tissue specificity is determined by the capsid serotype and pseudotyping of AAV vectors (or called recombinant AAVs, rAAVs) to alter their tropism range is important to guide AAV to deliver gene of interest to the target organism. AAV related products have been extensively evaluated in human with multiple approved by the FDA, therefore, they are safe.

We provide complete resource for AAV antibody determination of neutralizing antibody using AAV reporter or whole antibody using ELISA kit.

Porcine parvovirus (PPV), a DNA virus in the species Ungulate protoparvovirus 1 of genus Protoparvovirus, belongs to Parvoviridae family. PPV causes reproductive failure of swine characterized by embryonic and fetal infection and death.
