Human Recombinant Prostate-Specific Antigen (Kallikrein 3, Myc & His tags)
Catalog Number:
E37Z34
Description:
Prostate-specific antigen (PSA), also known as gamma-seminoprotein or kallikrein-3 (KLK3), P-30 antigen, is a glycoprotein enzyme encoded in humans by the KLK3 gene. PSA is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland in men and the paraurethral glands. A recombinant form of PSA protein (sequence Ala18-Pro261) was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The molecular weight is 27.88 kDa without tags. This product contains a Myc tag followed by a 6 hexa-histidine tag at the C-terminus. The purity has been examined >90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE. We evaluated its binding to anti-His tag antibody (clone RV7, Cat.No. J96C86), anti-Myc tag antibody (clone RV19, Cat.No. M52T82), and a PSA-specific antibody (clone RV50, Cat.No. W24D36) in ELISAs, see results.
