Human VEGFR2 Protein, Fc tag
Catalog Number:
Z28H39
Description:
Human Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is one of the key players in angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation. VEGF plays role through its two receptors, VEGFR1 and VEGFR2, expressed in endothelial cells. Blocking the interaction between VEGF and its receptors using specific antibodies or other protein entities to prevent signaling has been one of many approaches to reduce tumor growth. A recombinant form (Ala 20 – Glu 764) of VEGFR2 protein (Accession: P35968) fused with human IgG1 Fc (Fc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The purity has been examined >95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~111 kDa. We evaluated its binding to a VEGFR2-specific antibody clone RV62 (Cat.No. P11C36) in ELISAs, see results.
