HMPV Glycoprotein (subtype B1), His and Fc tags
Catalog Number:
T92D22
Description:
Human metapneumovirus (HMPV) has three surface glycoproteins—the small hydrophobic (SH), glycoprotein (G) for attachment, and fusion (F) proteins. A recombinant HMPV glycoprotein (G) (GenBank: AAS92886.2) from isolate NL/1/99 B1 consists of ectodomain (Asp 52-Ala 224) and was produced by insect cells, followed by purification. This product contains C-terminal human Fc tag, 6 hexa-histidine tags. Amino acid sequence is available upon request. The purity has been examined as determined >95% by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~ 45 kDa (including tags) migrates as 62-80 kDa. We evaluated its binding to anti-His tag antibody (clone RV7, Cat.No. J96C86) in ELISAs, see results.
Applications:
Crystallization (Crys), ELISA, SDS-PAGE (SDS), Western Blotting (WB), Immunization or Antibody Sorting Probe, and others
Source:
Insect cells

BSL-1
Organism:
Human metapneumovirus (HMPV)
Size and Formulation:
100 or 500 μg in PBS, pH7.2, without preservatives.
Note: Not lyophilized formulation, so no lyophilized protectant reagents added.
Endotoxin:
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.
Shipping or storage condition
Ship with dry ice. Recommend -80°C storage for long-term. Store at 4°C or −20 °C for short-term.  Multiple freeze/Thaw cycles will reduce its activity. Aliquot is recommended.
