Influenza B Hemagglutinin (HA) protein (Victoria lineage), His and Fc tagsÂ
Catalog Number:
B16Z78
Description:
Influenza (Flu) hemagglutinin (HA) is an abundant surface glycoprotein on the influenza virus responsible for binding the virus to host cells and mediating viral-host membrane fusion. It serves as the primary target for neutralizing antibodies and major antigenic shifts or drifts. A recombinant Influenza B HA (Victoria lineage, GenBank: QEO60482.1) consists of ectodomain (Asp 16- Thr 546) and was produced by insect cells, followed by purification. This product contains C-terminal human Fc tag and a 6 hexa-histidine tag. Amino acid sequence is available upon request. This product has been run on SDS-PAGE with reduced condition, where the target protein with a calculated MW of ~84 kDa (including tags) was shown (>95% purity). We evaluated its binding to a Flu HA-specific antibody (clone RV14, Cat. No. F91A45) and His tag-specific antibody (Cat.No. J96C86) in ELISAs, see results.
Applications:
Crystallization (Crys), ELISA, SDS-PAGE (SDS), Western Blotting (WB), Immunization or Antibody Sorting Probe, and others
