Description:

Human CD86 (also known as B7-2) on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APCs) binds to CTLA-4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4) on T cells. A recombinant form (Leu 26 – Pro 247) of CD86 protein (GenBank: AAH40261.1) fused with human IgG1 Fc (Fc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The purity has been examined as determined >95% by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~ 55 kDa (including tags) migrates as 65-90 kDa.
