Avian Influenza (A/VFAR-140/2022, H5N1) Recombinant HA Trimer Protein (His tag)
Catalog Number:
N43D71
Description:
Influenza, commonly known as “the flu”, is an infectious disease of birds and mammals caused by RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae. A recombinant form of envelope protein hemagglutinin (HA) from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) A virus (A/Pelecanus/Peru/VFAR-140/2022(H5N1), clade 2.3.4.4b) (GenBank: OQ565628.1) was produced by insect cells, followed by purification. The trimeric conformation best mimics the native viral form. Amino acid sequence is available upon request. This product contains a 6 hexa-histidine tag at the C-terminus. This product has been examined on SDS-PAGE gel under reduced condition with >90% purity (estimated MW 62kD). We evaluated its binding to anti-His tag antibody clone RV7 (Cat. No. J96C86) or Anti-Influenza HA Neutralizing Monoclonal Antibody clone RV28 (Cat. No. E3V21) or two published mAbs CR9114 (Science. 2012:337:1343) or 100F4 (Nat Commun. 2015:6:8855) in ELISAs, see results.
Applications:
Crystallization (Crys), ELISA, SDS-PAGE (SDS), Western Blotting (WB), Immunization or Antibody Sorting Probe, and others
Source:
Insect cells
