HIV-1 Trimeric GP140 protein-clade B, YU2 strain
Catalog Number:
W44H24
Description:
A recombinant trimeric form of the HIV-1 glycoprotein (GP protein) from YU2 strain (clade B, GenBank: QHJ92204) was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK293 cells, followed by Lectin purification. This product contains ectodomain of GP protein with furin cleavage site knocked-down, T4 foldon trimerization domain, and C-terminal 6 hexa-histidine tag. Amino acid sequence is available upon request. This product has been evaluated by Native Blue gel and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) to confirm the trimer formation, SDS-PAGE for purity as well as ELISAs for binding, see results. A rabbit antibody 11B that targets 241 glycan hole (BG505 specific, catalog U90R79) does not to bind to this protein (ref: Cell Rep. 2016;16(9):2327-38.).
