Human NPTX2 protein, Myc and Fc tags
Catalog Number:
A36R90
Description:
Two synapse-related proteins, Neuronal pentraxin-2 (NPTX2) and 14-3-3 protein gamma (YWHAG), were found to be the most closely related to measures of cognitive impairment of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). A recombinant form (Gln 18 – Leu 431) of human NPTX2 protein (Accession: P47972) fused with Myc tag followed by a human Fc (hFc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The purity has been examined >95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~75 kDa (including tags). We evaluated its binding to a Myc tag-specific antibody (Cat.No. M52T82) in ELISA, see results.
Protein Synonyms:
Neuronal pentraxin II, NP-II, NP2
Applications:
Crystallization (Crys), ELISA, SDS-PAGE (SDS), Western Blotting (WB), Immunization or Antibody Sorting Probe, and other biological assays
Source:
Human embryonic kidney HEK cells
