This product features a spin column-based method for the purification of up to 100 µg plasmid DNA in less than 30 minutes. The column with an attached cap facilitates the binding, washing, and elution steps thus enabling multiple samples to be processed simultaneously.

Use protocol:
The complete protocol is shipped with the product.
Briefly, harvest the bacterial cells by centrifugation and resuspend the pellet in 0.25 ml Buffer R1 (Resuspension buffer) with RNase A. Add 0.25 ml Buffer L2 (Lysis buffer) and mix thoroughly. Incubate at room temperature for 5 min. Add 0.25 ml Buffer N3 (Neutralization buffer) and mix thoroughly, followed by centrifugation for 10 min. Transfer the supernatant to a new tube, add 0.25 ml Buffer B4 (Binding buffer) to mix well. Apply the mixture to DNA Mini Column, followed by spin or vacuum. Wash column and elute DNA. The result is plasmid DNA suitable for transfection, restriction endonuclease digestion, bacterial transformation, PCR amplification, DNA sequencing, and other sensitive downstream applications.
