Human amyloid beta (Aβ) is a biomarker for Alzheimer’s disease (AD). This antibody has been tested to bind to human amyloid beta (Aβ), see picture. Aducanumab binds to a linear epitope formed by amino acids 3–7 of the Aβ peptide and discriminates between monomers and oligomeric or fibrillar aggregates.
