Human VEGF Protein, Myc / Fc Tags
Catalog Number:
V79S22
Description:
Human Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) (also called VEGF-A) protein with AA Met 1 – Arg 395 (Accession: P15692) fused with Myc tag and human IgG1 Fc (Fc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. Sequence is available upon the request. The purity has been examined >95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE. The calculated MW of this protein should be ~71 kDa, while SDS-PAGE gel shows the smaller band indicating the cleavage of this protein. We evaluated its binding to a VEGF-specific Bevacizumab similar antibody clone RV60 (Cat.No. C50B96) in ELISAs, see results.
Protein Synonyms:
VEGFA, VEGF-A, RP1-261G23.1, MGC70609, MVCD1, VPF
Applications:
Crystallization (Crys), ELISA, SDS-PAGE (SDS), Western Blotting (WB), Immunization or Antibody Sorting Probe, and other biological assays
Source:
Human embryonic kidney HEK cells
Species:
Human
Sequence:
Met 1 – Arg 395
Tag:
Myc tag, human IgG1 Fc tag
Size and Formulation:
100 or 500 μg in PBS, pH7.2, without preservatives.
Note: Not lyophilized formulation, so no lyophilized protectant reagents added.
Endotoxin:
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.
Shipping or storage condition
Ship with dry ice. Recommend -80°C storage for long-term. Store at 4°C or −20 °C for short-term. Multiple freeze/Thaw cycles will reduce its activity. Aliquot is recommended.
