EpiCD™ CHO Expression
Catalog Number:
M13U59
Description:
EpiCD™ CHO expression medium is a chemically-defined (CD), free of serum, proteins or growth factors, animal-origin components, and hydrolysates sterile, ready-to-use medium for suspension culture of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell lines to achieve rapid cell growth, high density culture and efficient transient transfection.
EpiCD™ CHO Feed (Cat. No.M29V67) is designed for use with this medium to extend cell survival time and improve protein quality and metabolite profile, particularly post transfection.
Applications:
This medium supports multiple applications including:
- Support CHO suspension culture: CHO-K1, CHO-DG44, CHO-S and CHO-K1SV.
- Compatible with a variety of commonly used transfection reagents, such as PEI, Lipofectamine, 293fectin, TransIT-PRO with boost.
- Scalable production of recombinant protein or antibody to gram-scale yields.
