Description:
EpiCD™ MEM (Minimum Essential Medium) is a chemically-defined (CD), free of serum, lipid, proteins or growth factors, animal-origin components, and hydrolysates sterile medium for culturing various types of mammalian cells including HeLa, BHK-21, 293, VERO, Vero-E6, MRC-5, fibroblasts, and primary rat astrocyte. Supplement with serum is needed (usually with 10% fetal bovine serum).

Culture Conditions:
- Cell medium: EpiCD™ MEM + 10% fetal bovine serum + optional Penicillin-Streptomycin.
- Cell line: Adherent Vero cell or other.
- Culture type: Adherent culture.
- Culture container: Cell culture flask/ cell factory.
- Temperature range: 37℃±5, temperature shift as needed for cell culture conditions.
- Shaker incubator setting: 5 – 8% CO2, ≥ 80% humidity.

- V7B17-500ML for 500 mL without Phenol red.
- V7B17-3L for 6 x 500 mL without Phenol red.
- V7B17-500ML-Red for 500 mL with Phenol red.
- V7B17-3L-Red for 6 x 500 mL with Phenol red.
