Human Beta-amyloid protein, Myc and Fc tags
Catalog Number:
X77D63
Description:
The cognitive decline in people with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) involves an abnormal buildup of the proteins Amyloid beta (Aβ) and tau. A recombinant form (Leu 18 – Gly 700) of human beta-amyloid precursor A4 protein (Accession: P05067) fused with Myc tag followed by a human Fc (hFc) tag at the C-terminus was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK cells, followed by purification. The purity has been examined >95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE, where protein with a calculated MW of ~107 kDa (including tags). We evaluated its binding to a Myc tag-specific antibody (Cat.No. M52T82) and Amyloid beta-specific antibody (clone RV91, Cat.No. V74R16) in ELISAs, see results.
